John Durham, Pastor

Durham
John and his wife Jennifer have two elementary school-age children, Hannah and Caleb. He enjoys anything outdoors especially camping and kayaking. In his free time he coaches his son’s soccer team, loves to read biographies and books on history and enjoys a good movie night with his family. John’s favorite food is seafood and he strongly believes that God’s favorite restaurant has to be Pappadeauxs.

Wayne Watkins, Administration & Senior Adults

Wayne
Wayne and his wife Jo Ann have been married for 42 years. They have one daughter, Jennifer, and four wonderful grandchildren, Macayla, Ian, Cody, and Megan. Going to the movies, bike riding, playing games, taking vacations together, and spending time at Church are some of the fun things he enjoys doing with his family. His hobbies include snow skiing, traveling, and collecting Coke cans from all over the world. Wayne has been in the ministry 34 years and is jokingly referred to as the “old guy” on staff by Pastor John.

Michelle Stanphill, Assimilation & Women's Ministries

Stanphill
Michelle and her husband Brent have three beautiful daughters Ashley, Logan, Maison and the cutest little granddaughter Camdyn. Michelle enjoys planning gatherings with friends and family. She loves to met new people, read and take family trips to the beach or mountains. Mexican food is her favorite and knows that Heaven will have great tortillas with homemade butter.

Chuck Pope, Media & Communications Director

Pope
Chuck joined the FBC staff in February 2008. When he ventures away from behind the computer and gets outdoors, he enjoys traveling the globe, camping, backpacking, and spending as many saturdays at the lake during the summer as possible. In his spare time he enjoys drawing, reading, hanging out with friends, and watching good movies. While Chuck enjoys food in general, he loves mexican food and believes that Chick-Fa-La is the perfect fast food restaurant.

Jason Hatch, College Pastor & Men's Minsitries

Hatch
Jason and his beautiful wife Hannah have no kids and no pets. He loves Hannah, hunting, running, reading, redbox, and if given one free day, he would go fishing with Brad Paisley. His favorite foods are watermelon and chips and salsa, not necessarily together.

Peter Murrell, High School Pastor

Peter
Peter and Melissa were married in 2001 and have two boys Joshua (2) and Gabriel (7 months). Peter loves people and is usually having fun when he is around others. In his free time he likes watching movies, playing sports, hunting birds, and other outdoor activities but his favorite past time is making Melissa and the boys laugh. Peter's favorite food is anything that involves BBQ.

Jared Billups, Middle School Pastor & Contemporary Worship

Jared
Jared and his wife Krystal live in Irving and have two little girls, Karoline and Klaire, who both have Jared wrapped around their very small fingers. Jared loves doing anything outdoors including Kayaking and most sports, and enjoys playing and listening to music in his spare time. Jared enjoys an occasional ribeye and sweet potato followed by a huge portion of bread pudding, all downed with a large glass of sweet tea.

Jennifer Mosty, Children's Minister

Mosty
Jennifer and her husband Aaron are proud of parents of a their baby boy, Micah. Jennifer loves bike rides, long walks with Anakin (her dog) and CANDY – especially jawbreakers! In her free time she enjoys reading, Sudoku, movies, and board games. Jennifer’s favorite food is Latin, and when dinning her favorite place to eat is La Duni Latin Café.
