What is a Podcast?

A podcast is the way that the First Irving Family will be able to easily access all the sermon series preached here at First Baptist Irving by pastor John Durham, Curt Jones, Dan Savage and others.

How do I get the podcast?

We're glad you asked! All you have to do is make sure you have itunes and you are on your way. Follow these simple instructions and you'll be set up!

step 1: click on the First Irving Podcast link either in the in the resource center or on the scrolling box on the home page.
step 2: when the message "External Protocol Request" comes up, click yes or continue. The free program iTunes is required to download the messages.
step 3: Once iTunes is installed you will link automatically to our podcast page, click the subscribe button to begin the downloading process.
step 4: When you open iTunes later, check your "podcast library" and select the message you want to "get" or download.

When will the podcasts be updated?

Most podcasts are updated weekly by episode. We are electing to begin updating our podcast based on the teaching series and not on the frequency of the messages. This means that in a few weeks you will begin to see more recent series such as" When Angels Speak" the "Carols and Candlelight Choir Concert", and also "Great and Glorious".
