Come discover the unique DNA of First Baptist Irving. This class is perfect for new members or those wanting to know more about our church, our beliefs, and opportunities.
Honduras Mission Team
(led by Curtis Jones) Choir Room
The Honduras Team meets to prepare for their trip to Honduras in March.
Islam vs. Christianity
(led by Vernon Burger) M103
You will learn what Christians believe and what Muslims believe, and how to reach Muslims with love and the truth of Jesus Christ.
Christian Warriors
(led by Ralph Coleman) M105
This series describes modern day movements within Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. Learn recent information of the spiritual climate of our world.
Till Death Do We Part
(led by Randy and Wendy Torres) M206
This class is for the building up, encouragement, and equipping of marriages. The class is based on the Great Command Ministry marriage builder’s curriculum.
MIddle School Girls Eq U
(led by Jared Billups) (2 hour class)
The girls will meet at the Billups’ House, close to the church, and studying the series, “The Songs We Sing,” using worship songs to reveal truths of God.
MIddle School Guys Eq U
(led by Krystal Billups and Sarah Colvin) (2 hour class) 3rd Floor
Jared leads the guys through the topic of “Dating, Girls, and Truth,” a biblically based curriculum on God’s purpose on respecting others and ourselves.
Nursery/Childcare Volunteer
(led by Donna Mosty and Jennifer Mosty)
Volunteering for one hour to help with children in the nursery or children’s Equipping U.
High School EE
(led by Peter Murrell and Tyler Self) 3rd Floor
High School students will learn Evangelism Explosion to give them more confidence and answers in sharing their own faith with others.
Bible Thrills and Drills for K-3rd Grade
(led by Alicia Frick) K201
Kids will learn simple exercises to increase their Bible knowledge, develop skills in memorizing the books of the Bible, and learn how to apply the Bible.
Bible Drills for 4th-5th Grade
(led by Marla Gallemore) K203
Young people will learn necessary skills as well as locating Bible books and key passages, memorizing key passages, and competing in one Bible Drill.
