Every believer needs a firm foundation. Without a sound foundation of Biblical Doctrine, it's hard for believers to be equipped to live out and share their faith. We hope you'll join us at First Irving this Summer as Pastor John leads us through "The Core," a look at the deeper truths of God's Word, which are at the core of Christianity. Make plans to be here as we dive into these deep truths that stand at foundation of our faith! This Wednesday Go Global Wednesday's begin on June 5! Come and hear what God is doing all around the world and right here in Irivng through the lives of missionaries and fellow church members! Go Global will take place at 6:15 on Wednesday nights this summer in the Fellowship Hall. A Fellowship Meal will be served from 5:00-6:15 in the Fellowship Hall, and we now accept credit card payment for dinner, followed by our Prayer Gathering and Go Global testimonies. ¡LLENOS DE VIDA! Counseling Ministry at First Irving First Irving has a new counseling ministry directed at marriage, family and personal issues called RENEW. We are honored to have Julie David, who recently earned her Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, serve as director of this new, vital ministry. Childrens Camp Children's Camp Registration Begins April 7th. Early Registration has been in progress and there is still a chance to receive a $10 discount per child by registering your child before April 7th. A $30 deposit and completed paperwork are all we need. Both can be turned in or picked up on the Children's floor in the Welcome Center. CLASSIC SERVICE with Choir: 8:45 AM.
This exciting service uses choir, great hymns of the faith, and special messages through song. Will James in in leadership of worship through song each week. CONTEMPORARY SERVICE with Band: 10:00 & 11:15 AM. This service uses a band to lead in ancient and modern songs of worship. Jared Billups is in leadership of worship through song each week. WEDNESDAYS Join us on Wednesday Nights for FELLOWSHIP MEAL and PRAYER GATHERING all beginning at 5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
